本品以本色绸为底，其上依画理以单套针绣太湖石，石上天竹果实累累，树下配以翠竹灵芝，水仙芙蓉等祥瑞纹饰，以表灵仙祝寿之美好祝福。花叶多采用平绣技法，留水路，而芙蓉、天竹则以缉珠绣技法分别绣制米珠与珊瑚珠而成。缉珠绣又称穿珠绣，其技法为将如米粒大小的珍珠或珊瑚珠用丝线穿成串，以此作绣线盘钉纹饰。本品所用米珠直径多仅有一、二毫米，在如此之小的珍珠打孔穿丝，足见绣技之精湛。故宫博物院亦有类似藏品。参阅：故宫博物院文物珍品大系—织绣书画，图 32
