净土宗, 明清时期更形成了“家家阿弥陀, 户户观世音”的信仰盛况。其主要特征是身着袈裟, 双手结禅定印, 跏趺而坐。此尊螺发排列规整, 肉髻圆隆高凸, 顶饰摩尼宝珠。额宽颐丰, 眉若新月, 眼睑低垂, 目光下敛, 双目宛若未开敷的莲花苞, 俯视着芸芸众生。嘴角上翘, 面含笑意, 仪态端庄。此像形体丰硕, 造型端庄严整,胎体厚重敦实, 比例舒展匀称, 雍容华美。
