Framed marked on verso with a sticker from a Roman frame store. {Approximate dimensions: Icon 1 1/2 high x 1 1/4 inches wide. Frame 9 1/2 high x 8 1/2 inches wide.} Condition: Cracking and likely repair to icon. Some discoloration around its edges, and fading to the painted words. Gilt backdrop with decorative putti has losses to one wing and a complete loss in the top right corner.
