GERTRUDE ABERCROMBIE (American 1909-1977) "Still Life with Carnations" Oil on board. 10 1/8 x 7 1/2 inches. Signed and dated lower right: Abercrombie '59. Provenance: Purchased in the 1940’s and passed down through the family to the current owners. CONDITION: In overall good condition, when examined under black light there is no evidence of restoration or in painting. There are two minor areas of missing paint; one along the bottom and one by the handle of the vase. There is a partial gallery label on the back of the board.
