The elegant ovoid body with broad high shoulders tapering to a short waisted neck, the upper portion is modeled with a flaring, cup-shaped mouth with rippled petal lip, the body finely incised with broad central band of luxuriant peony blossoms, the lower portion just above the foot carved with a wide band of narrow upright arrow-head lappets, coated with a creamy white glaze. {Height: 10 1/4 inches (26 cm)}.
