SILK EMBROIDERED FIVE-CLAW DRAGON ROUNDEL, 19TH CENTURY, the gilt and red thread dragon is depicted writhing around a flaming central pearl, portrayed in a satin stitch, bats, ruyi clouds, and the eight Buddhist emblems, with mountain peaks and waves below, all over a black ground and is backed by a light brown silk.
