题识：响水关地近古盘州，群峰卓立，削如积铁，山径崎岖，虬松怪木既罕人迹，喷瀑悬崖千仞下注，壑底沸腾如雪。岩畔古刹荒寂，仅有一二老僧劝止宿焉。夜静则鹤啸猿啼之声不绝于耳，使闻之惊骇。余晨起告别，放胆过此，幸不致危险，系入滇最要处也，獠人筑山顶行旅往往患之。壬寅仲春月廿又二日，万里归人黄向坚画并识。|钤印：黄向坚印、黄、端木 |作者简介：黄向坚，江苏人，字端木，号存庵、万里归人，明末清初画家，善画山水，师法王蒙，有黄公望笔意。明末其父黄孔昭官云南姚州（今姚安）兵阻不得归，黄向坚徒步万里，逾两年迎父归，为世人所赞颂。
