识文：南皮师新作送阅，并属代促和章。早间有暇，无妨到署一谭。昨得有蓉生先生手书，可共览也。节盦大弟。锐白。咳嗽如何，昨晚不至苦否？ |纸本册页|说明：梁鼎芬上款。|此为杨锐论张之洞及诗词唱和信札，言及朱一新（蓉生）等，可知其时张之洞、杨锐、梁鼎芬等相处之融洽。|据信可知，杨锐系张之洞集团中一个重要信息枢纽。张之洞之新作交由杨氏予梁鼎芬赏析，并求唱和；朱一新信札寄往杨处，由杨与梁共览。从中可管窥杨锐之于张之洞的重要性，无怪乎戊戌变法失败后，张之洞曾积极援救杨氏。
