款识：群芳争艳图。壬辰孟冬嘉平月，拟边文进画意，写于藤花仙馆。金坛女史吴规臣。|钤印：香轮（朱）|签条：清代吴规臣女史绢本花卉逸品立轴。戊戌之春，启东张大千属并珍藏。|鉴藏印：袁伟鉴赏（朱） 曾藏启东袁伟处（白） 梦鱼斋鉴藏书画之印（朱） 雉水书虫董旱（朱） |作者简介：吴规臣［清］，女，字飞卿、香轮，号晓仙，江苏金坛人。吴朗斋女，吴县顾鹤妻。自幼从进士画家潘奕隽学习恽寿平没骨花鸟，“每对花写照，风枝露叶，雅秀天然。”兼精岐黄，通剑术。鹤令米脂，从征喀什噶尔，规臣留居吴门，夫家母家皆恃其往来金陵、维扬间鬻画供给。同时嘉兴沈谷山水，吴蕙花卉，南海黄之淑兰竹，并出冠时。
