款识：荆溪周发祥制（底款） |说明：此件拍品泥料细腻，窑火得宜，胎肉紧致，红润可人。壶形近似半月状，重心下移，双线压盖，修整精细，线条流畅。流挺而上扬，劲挺不凡，圈把紧结，底部平整略内凹，钤印“荆溪周发祥制”，作者乃乾隆时期制壶名家，制壶技艺纯熟。整器精工，秀骨雅健，线条流畅，颇有禅意，实为清早期朱泥之妙品。|款识简介：|周发祥，乾隆时制壶名家，生平史料不详。
