|说明：象在古代为祥瑞之兆，以喻太平治世。此作取材黑白相间的青花玉，玉质凝润，圆雕回首大象，体态丰盈，象尾帖服，大耳下垂，低首卷鼻，呈现出一派怡然自得的姿态。两胡人手持宝瓶，前来戏象献宝，情景生动欢快，予人祥和愉悦之感。有小厮攀爬于象背，前来围观，喜笑颜开。整体造型稳重，曲线婉转流畅，结构严谨有度。“太平有象”是典型的吉祥纹样，寓意太平景象、喜象升平，胡人则代表万国来朝的王朝盛世景象，也是宫廷喜爱的题材之一。
