|款识：大明宣德五年监督工部官臣吴邦佐造《宣德彝器图谱》记载，狮耳炉是仿自哥窑狮首大彝炉款式而制，以赐五军都督府之用。此件狮耳炉圆唇口，垂鼓腹身，下有浅圈足。腹身一对狮耳铸造细致，卷眉圆目，阔鼻大口，鬃毛虬曲，层次分明有序，威风凛凛。整炉黑褐色皮壳，沉稳古雅。底部有“大明宣德五年监督工部官臣吴邦佐造”十六字楷书款。据记载，吴邦佐在宣德三年为宫廷督造彝器，故后世多有铭其名款的仿制宣炉。
