|本盘口微敞，深腹弧壁，圈足微内收，盘形硕大周正，为嘉靖时期盘之标准造型。盘胎质精实细密，盘内外壁通施白釉，釉质洁白细腻，温润似玉，肥厚如脂，抚之光润细腻。盘底青花书“大明嘉靖年制”六字双圈楷书款，字体隽永工整，形制典型。足边沿的釉面截削整齐，施釉不淌，是为佳器。明代承元代崇白之风，历代均有烧造白釉瓷器。本品胎体轻重适度，造型清秀，釉面肥厚。嘉靖时期注意淘炼瓷土，此器胎质细腻润滑，胎色洁白，采脱胎技法制作，脱胎轻巧，器型规整，较之后来的万历瓷器更为胎薄体轻。整器纯净白腻，高贵典雅，为难得一见的明代白釉佳品。
