本件觀音坐像以黃、綠、紅、靛等色的琉璃燒制而成，含座高約92公分。觀音頭髮向後梳起，頭戴寶冠，冠前點綴有一化佛，耳掛墜飾，坦裸上身，唯掛一披帛，胸前堆貼蓮花和瓔珞珠佩，並著飄逸柔軟的下裙。觀音坐跏趺坐，結禪定印，眼半開闔，帶著一抹微笑，笑容牽引著飽滿澎潤面頰，神情安然。觀音所坐蓮座的蓮瓣寬鬆疏朗，蓮瓣外還裝飾有水紋。整體而言，本觀音裝飾華麗，衣紋自然，下裙的衣褶流暢富有變化。觀音豐滿而富有肌肉感的軀幹和四肢、光亮的三彩釉是為明代山西地區琉璃三彩的標準風格。
