|说明：此件作品以竹根雕制，选材质地细密，温润如玉。作者以京剧造型为创作题材，用圆雕手法雕琢钟馗捉鬼的形象。钟馗身着宽袍，头戴冠帽，豹头环眼，铁面虬鬓，丰腮阔口，手中持一口锋利宝剑，怒目训斥面前小鬼。而小鬼跪坐于地，双手合十，面露恐惧，似在苦苦哀求。作品工艺精湛，人物神态逼真，生动有趣，充满天真趣味，可见作者的高深功力。
