|此日本明治时期的鼎式香炉满工金银镶嵌，炉身布满金丝，细若毫发，在铁胎上镶嵌金银花鸟纹，实属不易，内附铜内胆，工艺精湛，实为极品。花鸟高肉镶嵌栩栩如生，炉身正面五谷丰登，仙鹤飞舞，背面日本菊盛开，小鸟惬意，寓意国泰民安。此为日本工匠应天皇之托，耗时三年六个月制作而成。1876年，天皇颁发法令，禁示止造刀剑，工匠转而制作精品类器物，如香炉、铁壶、花器等，此日本明治时期的鼎式香炉便是由此而生。
