铭文：亚形中召夫室癸父午刊 册命 说明：此件器物为清中期仿清宫旧藏周召夫鼎的摹古佳作。本品器型、纹饰、铭文均与《钦定西清古鉴》中的周召夫鼎相合。周召夫鼎铭文中有父癸字样，曾经被定为商代，后清人觉得不足据，又因其上有册命、召夫等铭文，将其定为周世。由此可见清代金石考据之学之严谨，或因其在金石学上的意义，故清人得以摹古仿制。此件器物气势沉稳，纹饰精细，依清宫藏鼎彝之器制就，足显尊贵。
