戊子仲冬作扵歇浦，袁松年。 松年（白文） 又名袁十，字鹤文，广东番禺人，寓上海。上海中国画院画师。初攻西洋画，欲借以创制“新国画”。后放弃西画，力求“国画合理化”，跳出国画的传统窠臼，但未收成效。画山石多用小斧劈皴，用笔坚硬，较少变化，但善于运用彩色水墨烘染技法，层次鲜明，有其特色。其画在东南亚一带较有影响。能诗文，有《抒情小唱诗集》、《名胜写生集》。
