|本品由鸟笼罩、支架及笼中雀鸟组成，鸟笼内设笼架、托盘、及鸟食罐。通体笼丝以挺拔的紫檀木条制成，笼丝纤细，打磨浑圆，色红褐而有光晕，整观玲珑精美。以大小六个纬圈，数十根经线组成，上接黄花梨顶钩，钩安在莲座上，莲座下一圆台，圆台四周有数十个小洞，以固定经线。下端有一椭圆形小门，安置于最下面两个纬圈间，占六根经线宽，以颌形式打开笼门，门上有搭钩关门。中间为一双鹦鹉，停歇于花海之间，振翅欲飞，鲜活而丰满，灵动非凡；且设色丰富，渐染妍丽，与饱满的团花相谐调，给人以富贵喜庆的感觉。
