题识：萧史善吹萧，作凤鸣。秦穆公以女美玉妻之，筑凤楼，教美玉吹萧，感凤来集，一日随凤飞去。丙申中秋后三日，程芥子。|钤印：「柳燊」 |程芥子（1910-1987），名柳燊，以字行。浙江余姚人。为台湾当代著名画家和教育家。早岁师事常为冯超然，习人物、山水，后以偏好人物，遂专擅，由明入手，上参李伯时，面貌勾描，衣褶寓繁于简，所配景以有山水功力，佥能有助画中人物气质发挥。妻顾瑞华，工书法，精国剧。
