题识：辛巳夏日游万寿山归，为小侄女慧生写此联以勉之。孔子曰：敏而好学，凡学问之道必有师承，有师则有法度，然后始可发挥己意。孔子曰：从心所欲不逾矩。加以勤俭养心，敏而多思方可成业，谨严持教当为治学之本。耕读修心最是治学之基。人非天纵之圣，难求兼善，专业则精，务广则荒。余学无所成，陋劣寡闻。所以尽言，顾使后辈有可以风世者为。西山逸士溥儒。|钤印：溥儒之印、溥儒 |释文：率素履攸行耕良农读良士，学古训有获俭养广勤养心。||溥儒|溥心畲，原名爱新觉罗•溥儒，初字仲衡，改字心畲，自号羲皇上人﹑西山逸士，为清恭亲王奕欣之孙，笃嗜诗文、书画，皆有成就，画工山水、兼擅人物、花卉及书法。
