款识：何朝宗印 |明清时期，德化窑以瓷塑人物雕像而世界闻名，人物雕像中又以观音最具代表性。此件德化窑观音像面部丰腴，双眼微闭，小口含笑。其身着风帽长衣，衣纹流畅自如，衣角随风轻微摇曳，褶皱细密有致深浅不一。她身姿挺立，双手藏袖放于右腰侧，双足赤裸站于礁石上。礁石下乱浪激荡，观音却神色自若，岿然不动。器物通体施德化白釉，釉色略微泛黄，釉质温润淳厚，流畅自然。观音背部有一方阴刻“何朝宗印”四字篆书款。
