|古籍善本|作品简介 是书为时任北京北堂主教樊国梁（Alphonse Favier）所著，为1897年初版限量本，编号为349。内收录660幅钢版翻木板线刻插图，北京各地及圆明园照片124幅对北京的历史、文化、建筑、民俗等进行了全方位的描述，可以说是20世纪初外国人了解北京的“百科全书”。1897年法兰西科学院曾给此书颁奖，中国国家图书馆外文善本特藏部亦作为善本加以收录。全书为巴黎原版初印的大开本，皮面精装，品相完好，是研究清末天主教及晚清中国历史的一手文献。
