此拍品呈椭圆形，四瓣海棠式，双层。盖与上层及二层之间均以子母口相合，盖心内收近盏顶式，相应的盒顶收分，衔接椭形矮足，器形沉稳大方。外壁包镶竹黄二层，色浅者为地，色深浮凸者显花，盖面为团窠缠枝花纹图案，四壁以每一层、每一分瓣为单位，均饰团花，精密工细，富几何美感。此器色作深红，古色古香，光泽润腻，凸显文竹制品的独特质感，是一件很有代表性的作品。参阅：1、故宫博物院藏 “清 文竹团花海棠式双层盒”2、香港佳士得2017年5月拍卖lot3170“文竹缠枝纹海棠式双层盖盒”成交价125万港币
