款识：“王世琛书” |说明：砚作长方形，以端石所制，硕大厚重，开钟形池，砚面处饰以夔龙纹。石质细洁，雕工古厚，形制端严大气，为端砚中难得之重器。|原配黄花梨天地盖。|简介：王世琛（1680－1729），字宝传，号艮甫，江南长洲（今江苏苏州）人。王世琛是明朝探花王鏊的第八世孙，世琛之父王铨，宇东发，康熙二十九年（1690）乡试中举，官至给事中，他为人敦厚重交情，讲信义，被人们所称道，其书法绘画均极精妙，当时颇有名气。
