Rare Chinese Qing Dynasty Embroidered Blue-black Silk Capelet with a black border and with a design in various silk stitches of a 4-claw Dragon in gold wrapped thread with gold suns in blue clouds with white bats, a water & rock edge with lotus at back; together with a similarly embroidered strap with a very small 2-part buckle closure embossed with a flower. Black silk border is fraying, one corner of embroidered border is torn, some embroidery threads loose but present, white lotus and bats with spots missing. Width 29 1/2 inches (75 cm.).
