Exceptional seal - Buddhist symbolic images carved - Tibet, Lasha - bronze, bone and hard stones. Exceptional Tibetan seal in bronze and carved bone. The bronze handle shows the face of Mahakala (the Great Black) on one side, on the other side a group of pearls and jewels. In the lower part three figures of Buddha are engraved on the bone. The piece is embellished with ornamental jade green stones. The seal was destined to impress on the documents the wheel of the doctrine (one of the eight auspicious emblems of the Tibetan tradition).
