|元代蒙古族开疆扩土，使不同民族的宗教文化进入中原，从而迎来了中国与穆斯林交往的新阶段。有明代，这种文化交流依然频繁，并在正德年间达到顶峰。在当时社会生活诸多方面都受到了阿拉伯文化的影响，各类艺术品常有以阿文为装饰的器物。|此件鬲式炉口沿外缘起线，束颈，腹部圆鼓，底有三乳足。三足对应的腹身上分别有三处开光，其内珍珠纹为地，减地浅浮雕阿拉伯文作装饰。底款铸楷书“正德年制”。整炉外皮呈褐色，正德年间制炉，以褐色为多，此炉可谓阿文炉之精美者。
