|工字佩是战国和汉代独创的一种新的玉器器形，与司南佩，刚卯一起被视为避邪之物，也是一种身份的象征。佩四方形，四周呈现斜坡状，中间开线且有穿孔，外形像“工”字的玉佩。其特点是在四方形的玉佩上，左右打出两道缺口，形状看起来像“工”字，在左右中间穿孔，以用线佩戴。该工字佩造型古朴，雕工刚健，有“汉八刀”风韵，玉质油润，孔道可见手工钻孔痕迹，颇为难得。
