题识：危亭势揖人，顽石默不语，风吹梅树花，着衣幻作雨，池上鹤梳翎，寒烟白缕缕。顿宫先生雅属，庚申五月，老缶。||钤印：俊卿之印、仓硕、虞中皇 |说明：墨梅是文人画里的经典题材，但吴昌硕得之于自身深厚的碑学书法功力，纵横涂抹，饶具趣味。他的墨梅不再像古人那样，只突出其高洁本质，更有傲岸倔强的一面。因为其下笔恣肆，气势撼人。梅的枝枝叶叶中都有吴昌硕铁画银钩似的笔法。整体而言，画幅中以淡墨为主，但浓淡配合得意，淡墨不显得柔弱，而浓墨也不凝滞。左边的落款是吴昌硕典型的行书风格，从黄庭坚中来，融合碑体，斩钉截铁，结体看似简单，但法度森严。
