底款：淳熙甲子监造圣殿永宝用享
说明： 此件兽面纹方彝以商晚期青铜彝样式为蓝本铸造。方彝流行于商晚期到西周早期，宋代金石学启蒙，在宋代《考古图》和《博古图》等著作中就已经开始对方彝进行了考据，而三代铜器仿制也是从宋代开始兴盛。此件出戟方彝纹饰以回纹为地，上下异形凤纹纹饰与主体兽面饕餮纹相较于商代器物更为内敛，出戟光润附宋代时期审美。从款识中可推断是宋孝宗时期所铸。
