作者简介：方召麐（1914～2006），江苏无锡人，居香港。出身名门世家，工山水、花鸟、人物。自幼师承无锡名家钱松岩、陈旧村。1938年赴英国留学，1948年拜赵少昂为师，1951年与赵少昂在日本举办画展。1953年拜张大千为师，画艺大进，1970年赴美国大千府上聆教一年，以后长期旅居香港、伦敦两地。1996年获香港大学荣誉文学博士学位。
