此壶坡颈平口，平盖扁钮，与壶身形成呼应，正好形成大中小逐层递减的视觉效果，泥质泛紫，温润细腻，工艺精到。造型简洁，圆润而不失刚劲，壶身铭刻诗文“涤我酒脾，润我诗肠”，刻字内填黄料，落“曼生”款。“阿曼陀室”款的紫砂壶是清代嘉庆年间制壶名家杨彭年与书画家陈曼生合作制作的紫砂壶。一般由陈曼生设计壶样，杨彭年依样成型，再由曼生在壶上题字刻铭，世称“曼生壶”。
