如一，1966年出生于北京，自由艺术家。如一自幼喜欢绘画，与古近代中国书画有深湛鉴赏力，经常去皖南游历，深深地被那里的山水吸引和感化。如一的纯墨山水画与我们见惯了的山水画不一样，单纯中倾注了他的苦心孤诣和反复求索。他对构图的讲究既上宗北宋范宽、郭熙和南宋的马远、夏圭，也借鉴现当代绘画乃至装置艺术中的手法，目的就是力求把自己的心象有一个自如的表达。
