烧蓝工艺又称点蓝工艺、烧银蓝、银珐琅，是以银作胎器，敷以珐琅釉料烧制成的工艺品，尤以蓝色釉料与银色相配最美而得名。此件拍品取天然海螺制成，器身包银烧蓝，以百宝嵌工艺嵌碧玺翡翠等宝石，掐丝藏文一行，为藏传佛教中的供奉法器，属佛教八宝之一。
