清乾隆时期瓷质雕塑工艺已臻于成熟，至嘉庆、道光两朝，雕瓷工艺盛行，晚清更涌现一批雕瓷名家，如王炳荣、陈国治、李裕成等名噪一时，在清代陶瓷器中独具特色。拍品为瓷雕大师王炳荣之作，印泥盒呈扁圆形，子母口方式扣合，外壁满施黄釉，釉色细腻莹润，器底与内壁施松石绿釉，底心阳文篆书“王炳荣作”四字双行篆书款。器身通景以贴塑高浮雕技法装饰，可见老树遒劲，芳草依依，祥云远去，流水近来，一老者头戴斗笠，身披棉帛赤足坐于树干憩息，神情怡然自得，画面层次清晰，细节雕刻细腻。盖面一侧浮雕诗文“当流赤足踏涧石,水声激激风吹衣”，出自唐代诗人韩愈诗《山石》，并落款“戊辰仲秋王炳荣作”。
