|扇作芭蕉式，上广下狭，上端翘起，使扇面形成立体弧度。团扇边框及柄以黄花梨木制成，扇面用湖色纱，纱为缠枝花卉纹暗花纱，纱地上绣以牡丹一株，牡丹盛开，极显富贵之态。扇顶部为铜镀金护顶，下部为花形护托，扇柄嵌染牙顶头，系红丝穗。|团扇亦称“宫扇”，因形似圆月，且宫中多用之，故名。早期多为圆形，后乃有长圆、扁圆、梅花、葵花、海棠等样式。|此扇与故宫藏的黑色纱绣花卉图红木雕花柄团扇式样及装饰近似，当初应属宫中之物，精巧雅致，具有很高的美学欣赏价值。
