|炉以上佳铜料铸造而成，质地细腻，器表平滑光亮，色泛金褐。炉为平口，出双冲耳，束颈，圆鼓腹，下承三足，别具雅致，造型简洁。炉底铸有阳文“贻月斋”三字方款，字体工整。宣炉最妙在色，其色内融，从黯淡中发奇光，此品呈色黄褐，宝光内蕴。冲耳炉形制源出宋代瓷炉，宣德皇帝以其置于政务殿阁，盖因取其“敬天法相”之意也。因其线条优雅流畅，故而被后世广泛应用于宫廷，文房，祭祀等诸多重大场所。
